its a vax cleaner i borrowed off a friend with no instructions, its vax aaa carpet cleaner, how much should i use, and how much water? My carpet shampoo says to use the required dose, but doesnt say how much it is...help?
Here's their website. They have help and videos for you. www.vax.co.ukMy carpet shampoo says to use the required dose, but doesnt say how much it is...help?
Usually a carpet cleaner shows a water line on the tank, and the soapy cleaner has the directions on the bottle itself as to how much to use.
If all else fails Google the name brand and find out the web site and ask them
my carpet cleaner uses one cap full per gallon of water, hope this helps
Use the amount it says on the cleaner bottle.
It depends on the make of the cleaner not the vax.
ps Vax shampoo is as good as any.
You want a shampoo that contains an anti foamer. Most do. Some also contain anti static.
Don't put too much water in the vax it's normally best to only part fill it.
On the vax shampoo bottle it has a picture that shows you to use one capful per litre of water.
If you don't know how much water the vax takes then fill the cleaner from a measuring jug keeping a record of how much you have put in.
You can then add the appropriate amount of shampoo.
