After dying your hair, is the conditioning shampoo essential?

On the box, it says you have to use the conditioning shampoo after rinsing out the dye from your hair. The problem is that i finished the tube last time. Is it ok for me to dye my hair without using it after??After dying your hair, is the conditioning shampoo essential?
Any conditioner would be fine, although don't be tempted to do a deep conditioning treatment immediately after a colour as this will cause you to loose some of the fresh colour. wait for that about 48hrs.

Use whatever conditioner you would usually use when washing your hair - if you like to colour your hair be sure that the conditioner does not contain silicone as this can coat y our hair in an uneven way and stop colour from taking evenly.

Some conditioner that promote shine contain silicone.

Before applying colour as long as it is not permanent I always advise the use of a clarifying shampoo to remove any build up of conditioners, styling aids etc. Clarifying shampoos are made by most good hair product companies.

Hope this helps you! After dying your hair, is the conditioning shampoo essential?
it is ok, as long as you make sure you spend bit more time lathering to ensure it cleans out proper, and the conditioning part is for your hair to look more shiny, but you can use any conditioner, it will work.

good luck
yeah its fine. but dying your hair dries out your hair sooo bad. it says to use that shampoo/conditioner after so it hydrates your hair, thats all.
Its best to use deep conditioning often in your hair and hot oil to prevent dandruff %26amp; dry hair
yes it is for some reason the dye dry out ur hair so i think you should both.
